Microblading

Good for Normal - Dry Skin types
Eyebrow Microblading is also known by a variety of names such as eyebrow embroidery, microstroking, feather touch and hair like strokes are a form of permanent makeup that provides a means to partially or fully camouflage missing eyebrow hair with the appearance of simulated hair using fine deposits of cosmetic tattoo pigments.
This 3D look is created with a small hand tool with many fine pins that create the look of fine flowing hair strokes within your own brow shape helping even out and add definition.
This technique is soft and not meant to replicate the look and fill powdered pencil provides , rather adding shape and definition with breaks (skin colour sitting in-between each stroke)

Good for Most Skin Types
​
Hybrid fusion / Combination of two styles ( hairstrokes and soft shading ). This technique is perfect for those looking for longer lasting, or more defined eyebrow style . A small Rotary machine is used to create a soft consistent shaded look in between the hand made 3D hairstrokes .​
​
Note * Using a machine rather then hand tool is less traumatizing for skin, and yields a more consistent longer lasting result
This is Talias most sought after style of eyebrow.
Hybrid Combo Brows can be created bold or soft / Realistic depending on client style and needs. Game changer for those with oily skin and/or athletes or those who like a bold brow without the need to add any make-up. This Style can also help correct the look of previously done uneven microblading or tattooing.

Results are typically hair stroke effect with a soft powdery fill between strokes, as brows naturally fade strokes will fade first leaving a beautiful soft shaded brow- return for a touch up to add back hair strokes when desired or enjoy the longer lasting shaded effect for months - years longer

Powder | Ombre Powder Brows

Good for ALL skin types & Corrections Cover-ups
​
Full Powder soft shading (no hairstrokes). When Powder Brows are healed the look appears as a soft powdery fill, most similar to a powered make-up effect.
We can create Bold (fully saturated ) or Very Soft ( lightly saturated) results depending on desired style. Choose between a gradient of fully saturated front/head of brow. This Style of Eyebrow lasts the longest because the full shape of the eyebrow is saturated with pigment ( with microblading there is a hairstroke then void of skin then hairstroke , then void) Powder brows are the least traumatizing to the skin and generally fade out very consistently without patchy areas sometimes seen with microblading. This is the best choice for anyone with thin skin or sun damaged skin.

Corrections | Cover ups | Botched Brows
​
We are able to use a variety of techniques to help cover and correct previously done permanent make up. These Corrections can be complicated, require more sessions and at time partial or complete removal of previous work. Preparing & Taking Care of Eyebrows
How long can I expect it to last?
​
We only use the best! Our pigments used in Microblading & all other services are carbon based and will NOT fade out pink or reddish like many other products available on the market. Carbon based pigments heal more vibrant and tent to hold better in the skin then other formulas.
Generally Microblading fades the quickest due to the strokes and voids used to create the hairstroke effect.
Combo / Hybrid & Powder Brow Styles Typically Last Longer because more pigments is placed in the skin ( more saturation of skin with pigment) this can be months- year longer - fading typically begins within 12 months. In order keep your brows looking fresh, a touch up is recommended sometime between 1 & 3 years max
Going more then 3 years without a touch up service? After that full price for Microblading/ Combo / Powder Brows will apply but we will give you a complimentary 10% off you service fee!.

For clients that choose a softer look and lighter color shade initially or those who did not follow the after care instructions properly may require more or more frequent touch ups.
Factors that will cause your Cosmetic Tattoo to fade faster:

• Poor Aftercare
• Sun exposure (Not wearing SPF)
• Exfoliants
• Strong immune systems
• Exposure to salt water
• Smoking
• Iron deficiency
Using Retinol-A or Aha on and around your eyebrows

Are Semi-Permanent Eyebrows deemed permanent?
​
Technically, semi-permanent micro-pigmentation is considered permanent because the colour is implanted into the upper dermal layer of the skin and cannot be washed off. However, the pigment is implanted more superficially than a traditional tattoo, so it naturally fades over time.
Does the application hurt?
​
We take every precaution necessary to ensure the microblading procedure is as pain free as possible. A strong topical anaesthetic cream is used prior to and during the procedure to keep you as comfortable as possible. Some clients find the procedure a little uncomfortable while others report no discomfort at all.
How long is the recovery or healing time?
​
Immediately after your microblading procedure and in the first 10 days, your brows will appear significantly darker and defined than perhaps your desired look. This is not an accurate indication of the finished and healed result. 30-50% of your brow color will fade as the protective flakes fall off (within 7-10 days). In some cases, the flakes may take longer to heal and fall off (everyone heals differently) . DO NOT PICK YOUR FLAKES. The pigment is within the scab and you do not want to pull any pigment out of your skin prematurely. We all heal differently and what works on one client may not be effective on another so please do not compare your results.

The complete healing process takes approximately 6 weeks.
​
How do you choose a colour?
We discuss colour preferences together and use colour theory , undertones and natural hair colour to select the best match for you features and personal preference. As a rule of thumb, we closely match the color of your brow hair rather than your current hair color for the most natural results.
What types of pigments do you use?
​
We use Canadian & American made, Vegan & cruelty free carbon based pigments , They are 100% plant based with NO HEAVY METALS.
MRI Safe , Our Pigments will fade over time and are naturally absorbed by the skin. They are perfectly safe.
​
PLEASE NOTE: IT IS ABSOLUTELY CRUCIAL TO HAVE A TOUCH UP DONE. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO PREDICT HOW WELL YOUR SKIN WILL RETAIN THE PIGMENT. DUE TO THIS AND MANY OTHER VARYING FACTORS, WE CANNOT GUARANTEE YOUR RESULTS.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

Preparing for your Semi Permanent Brow Session!
Please read over carefully and if you are unsure , ask your artist .
Do not drink alcohol, too much coffee or energy drinks ( in excess) 24 hours prior to procedure
​
Do not take Painkillers, Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or anything that could thin your blood the day before the procedure
Check ingredients in all face products to ensure that you are not using any type of Acids / Retinols or
Steroids on your eyebrow area leading up to appointment
Avoid extensive sun exposure three days before the procedure
Avoid other brow procedures such as waxing, tinting, and threading a few days before

Feel free to come to session with how you would normally have your brows styled,
(we will wipe and remove all make up in treatment area before commencement )
Tell your technician if you have any chronic illnesses or allergies
Do not use skin care products with Alpha Hydroxy acid, Retinol-A or apply anti-aging/ Anti Acne products two weeks before the procedure (anything that would lighten your skin or encourage cell turnover) to brow area & within 2 inches of brow area
Skip Donating Blood on the day of your appointment If you are a blood donor, it is not the best time to give. Donating might strain your body and may cause weakness.

No Botox 14 days before treatment
​
No Excessive Sweating for a mininum 72 Hours ideally 1 week after service
No Submerging brows in Water, Saunas or Steam rooms 2 weeks after service
No Direct Sun Exposure 2 Weeks after service

Microblading is not suitable for anyone with the following:
​
Pregnant Women , Anyone with an uncontrolled chronic illness (eg. Uncontrolled Diabetes, Lupus) or those with bleeding disorders, individuals who are on blood thinners, or who do not heal normally
​
Anyone who is currently ( or in the last year) taking the prescription Acutane
​
Breast Feeding Woman Are asked to first contact Studio for a phone consultation- and produce a physicians letter clearing tattoo service
​
Those suffering with cancer or other illnesses may have treatment with a letter from their physician clearing them for treatment , and prior consultation with artist.
​
Please note : New Client appointments are on average 2.5 hours long , please leave young children at home or arrange for a guardian to be able to sit with them in waiting area Children are NOT legally aloud in treatment area- it is imperative that artist can focus on your service for best results
​

If you present for service and have not properly prepared for your session and you are unable to proceed , you will loose your booking deposit. NO EXCEPTIONS We set aside special time for your session- if we are unable to complete service we loose valuable time to see other clients & the ability to make an income- We Thank you for your understanding
